The Blackocracy is a podcast and brand created by Shine Travis and Jessica Renee in 2019. Initially starting as their daily vent sessions via text and social media, they decided to press record and deep dive on topics related to varied and valid multifaceted experiences of Blackness domestically and internationally. Our goal is to create space and road to clarity through conversations, empathy, thoughtfulness, and action for Africans globally.
